Jim “WhiteRaven” Buddha Foret, Reverend
Passed away on October 5, 2017. He was born in Raceland, Louisiana on November 4, 1974 and is a native of Gheens, Louisiana.Jim is survived by his mother Emma Lee Dominique Foret, sister Jan Foret and brother Ray Pinero and wife Jonna and children, along with many others who called him brother.
He was predeceased by his father Navy Retired Senior Chief Elton Foret. His Maternal grandparents Felix (Calo) Dominique and Madeline Josephine Orgeron Dominique, his Fraternal Grandparents Maunsel (MJ) Foret and Dorothy Gudiry Foret. All of Gheens, Louisiana.
Jim was a graduate of Oak Ridge High School and Valencia Community College, He also attented Bakery Chef school at Mid-Florida Tech.
He passionately studied history, ancient and current religions, indigenous cultures, nature, mysticism, literature and various spiritual paths for most of his life. He currently owns the Jeweled Buddha, a gemstone/jewelry retail business that offers one-of-a-kind, estate and original jewelry, stone carvings, and loose stones. He also owns JF Jewels in which he designs and creates one-of-a-kind jewelry in his unique style blending history and the spiritual. He has collected gems and minerals for more than twenty years, acquiring unique, rare and unusual specimens. Mr. Foret travels giving lectures on stone artifacts, such as the crystal skulls. He also teaches about the holistical and metaphysical properties and uses of the gem and mineral kingdom for our benefit. Mr. Foret has also provided several mystical/spiritual services (i.e. counseling, healings, weddings...) over the years, as well as lectured on a variety of metaphysical, occult, and spiritual topics.
